Language Arts blog post error!

I apologize for my typo on our last spelling list. I wrote "cesus" instead of "census." I gave spelling packets back Monday and hope that helped clarify, but if not, I am so sorry for the inconvenience. I vow to always use spell checker in the future! Based on the test papers I have graded so far, it looks like students did very well. Re-takes will be offered if I find anyone has done poorly because of that long holiday break that cut into studying our words. We were a little spelling heavy the past few days, so students will not bring a new list home until Monday and we will shift our focus to paragraph writing and grammar review for the remainder of the week.

Progress reports

Progress reports will post online Tuesday afternoon. Please remember that all missing work was due before the break because of the short timeline to finalize grades. All of Mrs. Villastrigo's students were given progress reports and students were asked to bring them back signed by a parent. These are due back by Tuesday of this week. The great news is that many students caught assignments they were not aware that they were missing. Work turned in after the progress report grading window will still count toward the final trimester grade, so it is not too late to improve! Please contact teachers on our team if you have questions about specific classes.

Villastrigo Language Arts

We had quite a long break between our spelling practice and our test, so students will recieve packets Monday to review for our test on Wednesday. We will do a practice test and final studying as homework Tuesday night. For your reference at home, here is our list:
