We are so excited to have all of you as members of the Purple People Eater Team here at MMS this year. We hope that you will find this blog a useful communication tool. Our goal is to keep parents and students informed of the happenings at MMS both in and out of the classroom. Potato Bar

As a celebration of the end of our unit we will be holding a potato bar for lunch on Tuesday, November 22nd. All of the 6th grade students are invited to attend this feast, we just ask that they bring something to share. There will be a form to sign up for an item going home on Wednesday. We would like to have all the forms returned by Friday the 18th so we can plan for what is still needed.

We will also be looking for parent volunteers to help us set up, serve and clean up on the 22nd. If you are interested in volunteering please contact your child's Social Studies teacher or make sure to check the box on the form.

This has been a great celebration for us in past years and we are looking forward to it again!
